San Raffaele Hospital uses its contributors’ money to train American Doctors
Statement by Giorgio Pagano, Secretary of the "Esperanto" Radical Association

It’s mind-boggoling to read Daniela Ciranni’s article on the online newspaper, "NewNotizie.it," where she writes: " Who wouldn’t want to graduate with a medical degree and find a job waiting for them across the ocean where they can make a better life for themselves by living the Stars-and-Stripes-dream." Now it’s possible. Don Luigi Verzè has presented the new International Master’s Degree Course in Medicine and Surgery at the Vita Salute del San Raffaele University… the courses will all take place in English, which will be taught by San Raffaele’s professors and professors from other Italian and International universities."
To think that our great grandparents immigrated in order to flee from the unemployment crisis, now, almost a century later, we’re having to apoligize for the brain drain! Study English, the only language that counts, so that you can go abroad as soon as possible and live the American Dream. In the end, says Ciranni, is there any Italian citizen who wouldn’t want this?

Actually, it’s all about a colonized mentality which is now corrupting even the goverment, educational and university istitutions. This is why the contributors’ and donators’ money is being used to finance the studies of some students that don’t even know the necessary terminology to operate in Italian, but will be fresh and ready materialize their dream in the country of the star-spangled banner and in the English-speaking market. My (in)sincere congratulations to the University’s founder, Don Luigi Verzè!
