English at school: Now it’s a matter of National Defence.

With Minister Gelmini’s new school reform, studying English has become obbligatory for all 5 years of high school and in the Artistic, Music and Humanities, and even the fifth and final school year is to be taught entirely in English.
Today, every Italian pays a contribution of 900 euros a year to English speaking countries, Great Britain in first place, in order to learn the language: talk about taxes! Today, the same contribution is destined to rise greatly in Italy, as books, even for philosophy and art, will be purchased in English.
While Minister Ronchi continues to carry out a European campaign to defend the Italian language, in Italy, on the other hand, we are witnessing the language being suffocated by the constantly diminished amount of breathing room that is left in higher education, making it impossible to defend the language abroad. Those all knowing leaders are unable to think up an innovatice and non-discriminating solution, they can, apparently, only do one thing right:
destroy the Italian language and hetrtiage and pretend that they are defending it from abroad.
The fascists helped Italy lose during the Second World War, with the difference that a country can rise from the ashes of war; those selling out Italy’s collective identity are working hard towards the country’s cultural suicide, the destruction of the Italian nation. This is the reason why the linguistic problem is a problem of national defence, the current war is one of languages: dominating the language of the world means destroying cultures and favouring the destruction of their language, a task that the Germans attempted but failed.These "all-knowing" good-for-nothing leaders are making this task possible, even with the ridiculous attempt of trying to represent Italian submission to the English-speaking as the way to modernization.
