16 years today, April 10th, marks the day in which the 126th newsletter, which constitutes the experimental use of Esperanto in Italian schools and European partners, was approved.
In all these years, the peculiarity of Esperanto, the foreign language which requires the least amount of study hours in the world, is essential and needed to defend the European languages from the English-speaking agression, insuring, in the meantime, that our youth can have the same opportunities as those in the United Kingdom, which have not been at all considered up until now.
The political regime is also a linguistic regime, a post-war vassal which did not wish to end in order to ensure benefits for that usual handful of people: A Regime that prevents a democratic revolution which, by adopting and international language, would cause international relations to move together towards the United States of Europe. The comittments taken up on Apri 10, 1995 have not been carried out, likewise neither have the goals set out by the general manager of Internation Affairs of Miur Giunta La Spada, to whom the throne has been guaranteed by the Left-wing and Right-wing goverments, which, since Moratti's era to Gelmini's, have promised to work together with the Esperanto language: that last one of these happened during ERA's demonstration, together with a body of teachers, the 22nd of February 2009.
One of their equals, Giunta La Spada, assured that the Comittee of European Education should publish the contents of the newsletter with the 44-page-survey attached. What we are witnessing is only another reiterated collaboration with the colonial anglo-American policy, conveyed thanks to the omnipresent english language that is always warmly welcomed by interllectual and the leading social classes, proned to serving the interests of countries such as the United Kingdom, which saves 18 billion euros a year at the expense of other non English-speaking countries, and the United States, which saves money that is then spent on a third of research, due to the fact that there is no requirement to learn a second language.
This colonial collaboration is forcing our country in a constantly more and more underground position, and reducing Europe's market, its people are being subjected, as now, even to be an Italian teacher, you must have a B2 level in English.
We have to continue to fight, without using violence, for linguistic democracy and to protect the rights of people and cultures.
